A zombie outbreak has ravaged civilization as we know it. Hordes of zeeks bit and clawed their way to the top, becoming the world's apex predator. Regular humans are now an endangered species, with isolated pockets struggling to survive in this unforgiving new world.

Welcome to HumanitZ, an isometric, open-world zombie survival sandbox game where you can try to make a difference and put humanity back where it belongs: at the top of the food chain.

Will you brave the cities to scrounge for loot, knowing zeek hordes could be around any corner? Or will you try to survive in the countryside by hunting, fishing, and farming?

Survive in an open sandbox world

A vast, unforgiving world stretches from untamed wilderness to dense urban cities, with every location offering resources… and risk. Exploring is rarely safe and never predictable as you deal with infected wildlife, zeek hordes, and hostile survivors. Drivable vehicles become essential tools: traverse dangerous territory, transport supplies, carry companions, and delve deeper into hostile environments. Will you find help and trade at survivor camps, or a violent confrontation as you take on enemy bandit bases?

And if the infected and other survivors weren’t enough, hunger, exposure, and a dynamic weather system constantly threaten your odds of lasting another day. For those that keep pushing on when others give up, the path leads to The Island and the truth behind the outbreak and its still undiscovered horrors.

Live off the land!

Scavenge the ruins of the old world for resources, or retreat to the hills to avoid the shambling remnants of humanity. Set up a farm, forage, hunt wildlife, or fish to sustain yourself. Every decision can mean the difference between lasting another day or becoming part of the ruins.

Solo, co-op & online play

Survive your way. Play solo, co-op, or online in PvE and PvP modes with dedicated servers and proximity voice chat. Whether you take on the apocalypse alone or with friends covering your back, the choice is yours.  In a desolate world, even solo survivors learn quickly that befriending a dog or horse as a companion can make all the difference between life and death.

Robust character customization

Design your survivor with professions, afflictions, and a skill-tree system.  Then deck out your character with a wide assortment of weapons and gear that will define how you weather the apocalypse.

Craft and build to survive

Use a comprehensive crafting and building system to make what you need – everything from gear and consumables to vehicles. Craft and customize weapons with attachments and modifications to survive relentless threats and hunt. Upgrade vehicles with armor, weapons, and storage capacity to adapt to the risks that lie ahead.

Then build a safe house, fortify your base with defensive structures like electric fences and concrete barricades, or reclaim a burned-out husk of a home as your new home.

Endure the zeeks

Not all zeeks are slow and dumb. Adapt and improvise against numerous variants, or risk becoming zombie chow.  Customize your playthroughs with loads of game-changing settings, or go even further by turning on Permadeath if you dare.

The apocalypse eventually gets everyone. If not by the jaws of a zombie, then by starvation, exposure, treacherous terrain, or other people. How long will you last?
