In ARC Raiders, gameplay alternates between the surface governed by lethal machines and the bustling underground society of Speranza. Craft, repair, and upgrade your gear at your leisure in your own workshop before heading to the surface to scavenge the remains of a desolate yet beautiful world. Play solo or in a group of up to three players and traverse an environment full of threats from the ARC and the unpredictable decisions of other survivors. Only you can choose what kind of Raider you are and how far you will go to triumph.
EXPLORE AN IMMERSIVE WORLD
Explore four distinct maps at launch, with more to come as the underground society evolves and expands into new territories. Each destination carries the weight of a world twice destroyed and the scars of ancient and recent conflicts. Scavenge the remains for valuable loot and decipher the events of a past swallowed by nature. Changing map conditions will make each raid different from the last, as variable weather, enemies, and mechanics will add more unpredictability and danger.
CLAIM YOUR PLACE
In a society built on bravery and bravado, you must strive to make a name for yourself as a Raider. You can sell the loot you scavenge for money or use it to craft new gear, allowing you to face increasingly greater dangers. Your victories and failures will provide you with experience that will unlock all sorts of abilities, allowing you to play in different ways. Additionally, you can complete tasks assigned by merchants for their own purposes, discovering the disagreements and camaraderie of a community always on the brink of collapse.
BEWARE THE MACHINES
Lethal machines called ARC have taken over the surface, from swarms of tireless drones to mechanical titans that annihilate everything in their path. Their origins remain a mystery, but the constant danger they pose is present with every step you take. Each machine has its own strengths and tactics, forcing you to find their weaknesses and adapt on the fly. And remember: the sound of battle attracts. Other Raiders might hear it and want to take what you leave behind.
FORGE YOUR OWN DESTINY
Raiders survive by scavenging materials here and there. They use lost technology and ARC parts to craft weapons, gadgets, and gear. Upgrade your workstations and learn blueprints to craft even more advanced items or improvise them on the fly to get out of a tight spot. As you build a reputation, you can test your strength against other Raiders in trials and climb the leaderboard for valuable rewards.
CONTRACTS
In Speranza, everyone acts in their own interest, and merchants are no exception. They will send you to the surface to complete their contracts in exchange for rewards. Gradually, you will discover who they are and what they want for the future of Speranza. Complete contracts to get gear, crafting materials, and XP to level up your Raider and unlock more skill points.
SKILL TREE
The ARC Raiders skill tree has three branches: survival, mobility, and status. Spend your points to shape your playstyle. Loot faster and move more quietly with survival skills. Outmaneuver your opponents and threats with mobility skills. Improve your strength and stamina with status skills. This way, you can choose how your Raider grows and what they will bring to combat.
CREATE YOUR ARSENAL
There's a weapon for every taste, whether you want to take down a specific ARC enemy or face rival Raiders. Adjust your armament to your personal playstyle with the wide range of available weapons, including submachine guns, rifles, and shotguns. There are also more advanced options, such as railguns or energy weapons. Grenades, traps, zip lines, and deployable items offer the tactical options needed to defeat your rivals, while augments will help you adapt your armament to your playstyle. Unlock dedicated inventory slots and more gameplay perks.
