Before 2060, planet Earth will be uninhabitable. The discovery of a ninth planet, Persephone, at the edge of the solar system is humanity's only hope. The European Space Agency (ESA) will send the scientific mission Hope-01, comprised of two of their accomplished astronauts, Ariane and Thomas. Their mission: to investigate the planet and weigh whether humanity could thrive there.

 

The adventure begins in chaos, as a crash landing separates them on the planet, leading to a desperate search to reunite. 

 

Aphelion is a cinematic action-adventure third-person game set on planet Persephone, an icy and uncharted world. Stranded and without help, they must survive the unknown, reunite, and complete the mission. Traverse stunning alien landscapes, avoid lurking dangers, and uncover haunting secrets buried in the ice.  

 

Explore the surreal beauty of Persephone, a vast frozen world shaped by a lethal climate and shifting terrain.

 

Armed only with their exploration tools – a pathfinder, oxygen tank, grappling hook, and more – you must brave the unknown, traverse treacherous terrain, and gather clues about the strange, reality-altering phenomena threatening your existence. 

 

Ariane must persevere and push on to save Thomas. With her probe, she will make her way through the ever-changing tundra. She will face the perils of dark chasms and difficult ascents through melting ice, risking her life at every turn. Thomas, injured in the crash, must rely on his wits and observation, leveraging the environment to survive. As both characters explore and investigate, they will uncover secrets and clues about the strange conditions of the planet and the cause of the ship's crash.
